Judd.Jut
Donald Judd, one of the most significant artists of the twentieth century, best known for his representational sculpture and exploration in literalistic spacial expressions. Inspired by Judd’s practice, this project aims to create a visual system that embraces Judd’s philosophy in making shapes and objects that stood on their own as part of an expanded field of narrative and image making and that did not allude to anything beyond their own physical presence.

"Judd Jut" distills Donald Judd's artistic vocabulary into a dynamic exhibition identity. The bespoke typeface, with its stark geometric letterforms, echoes Judd's signature minimalist sculptures. Typography becomes sculpture, mirroring the clean lines and modular repetition of his stacked boxes and wall-mounted works. The vibrant color palette, lifted directly from Judd's own, activates the rigid forms, creating a dialogue between color and structure.
The logo's flexibility—shifting across textures and colorways—embodies Judd's exploration of seriality and variation. It's not static; it breathes, adapting like Judd's work to the viewer's perspective. The design isn't mere homage; it's an embodiment of Judd's philosophy, translating his interplay of form, space, and color into a contemporary visual language. "Judd Jut" doesn't just represent Judd; it channels him, offering a fresh perspective on minimalism for the 21st centur
