Shuffle, select, observe, interpret, the fundamental process of Tarot reading can be enigmatically similar to our quotidian social interactions with strangers. Tarot, Memory & Synergy is a project dedicated to building an experience which helps connect us with strangers in life utilizing the spirit of Tarot and the form of social interaction.
Each card represents a specific memory in my past. Upon meeting with strangers, I will lay my cards (story) on the table for them to choose. This process simulates the process of people selectively intake information. The transparency of the card allows people to overlay the imagery and create a new composition that serves their interpretation for my identity. This is similar to the process of generating stereotypes and schema in a social context
